AMIA Hair Studios (“AMIA”, “we”, “us”) is a specialist afro hair salon based at 12c Queensgate Centre, Orsett Rd, Grays RM17 5DF. We are the controller of any personal data you provide when booking, visiting or purchasing from us.

What we collect

  • ·Booking data — name, email, phone, service selected and appointment history (collected via Fresha at the time of booking).

  • ·Payment data — handled by our payment processors. We do not store full card numbers.

  • ·Marketing data — email address if you sign up for offers.

  • ·Website data — anonymous analytics (page views, device type) via cookies. See below.

How we use it

  • ·To take and manage bookings, send reminders and respond to enquiries.

  • ·To send marketing emails — only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

  • ·To improve our services and the website.

  • ·To comply with legal and tax obligations.

Booking and payment records are retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe.
