Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Overview

This policy applies to hair and products purchased from AMIA Hair Studios, whether in-salon or online. It sits alongside your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and, for online orders, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. It does not affect your statutory rights.

2. Your 14-Day Cancellation Right (Online Orders)

If you buy from us online, you have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order, for any reason — except where the hygiene exemption applies (see Section 3). To cancel, email hello@amiastudios.com with your order details. You then have 14 days to return the item, and we will refund you within 14 days of receiving it back.

3. Hygiene Exemption — Important for Hair Products

For hygiene and health reasons, hair extensions, wigs, bundles, closures, frontals, and similar products cannot be returned or refunded once opened, worn, tried on, or if the packaging/seal is broken or tampered with. This is standard across the hair industry and is permitted under consumer law for sealed goods unsuitable for return once unsealed.

Unopened products in their original, sealed packaging can be returned within 14 days (online) in line with Section 2.

4. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If a product arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. Please contact us within 30 days of receipt at hello@amiastudios.com with your order number and photographs of the issue. This applies regardless of the hygiene exemption — the exemption does not remove your rights over faulty goods.

5. Return Postage

  • If the item is faulty or we sent the wrong product, we cover return postage.

  • If you are returning an unopened item under your 14-day right simply because you changed your mind, you cover return postage. We recommend a tracked service, as we cannot refund items we do not receive.

6. Refunds

Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned item (or of you providing proof of return, whichever is sooner). Original delivery charges are refunded for faulty or incorrect items, but not for change-of-mind returns.

7. Services

Payments for salon services, deposits, and appointments are governed by our booking and cancellation terms, not this Returns Policy. Deposits may be non-refundable — please check at the time of booking.
